This week was just a week of miracles! From the moment we stopped emailing last week until last night we have seen miracle after miracle. I don't even know where to start! I guess just with last Monday evening.

So we were at family home evening and we had finished dinner and the spiritual thought and Amir came to me "Sister Carroll, ich habe eine Frage über Taupe." (I have a question about baptism) So he asked about what went on during the service, what it looked like and what was worn. Then as I answered his questions I told him that as it got closer to the 19th we would figure it out. Then he said, "Sister Carroll können wir es diese Samstag machen, oder muss es später sein?" (Sister Carroll, can we on this Saturday make it, or must is be later?)  So me and Amir sat and planned his baptism while everyone was running around the church and not even Sister Baker knew about it. That was the adventure this week. AMIR IS BAPTIZED!!!!!!! 

Throughout this week we had so many appointments fall out, but just as one would fall out one would literally fall into our laps. Zum Biespiel: this week we went by on a less active who then slammed the door in our face when she realized who we were. Well we missed the bus going back so we just started walking and stoping at the bus stops to see when a bus would come. We had a bout 40min but after about 20 min a bus randomly showed up and on the way to Bahnhof this random guy Abu called us. So a little background on Abu, we were walking through Bahnhof the day before he came up to us like we had talked to us before. Me and sister Baker played along got his number then realized that neither of us knew him. He called us the next day just as we got to Bahnhof asking to meet with us. We met and when we gave him the Buch Mormon, he told us that this was serious stuff and he needed to go home and pray and think about it, but if it was good he needed to be a part of our religion. All we did was hand him the book....

We also met with a guy named Ardelan this week. He is from Iran and believes that God is a crystal ball of energy and our goal in life is to become like him and creat our own worlds. He also told us that God is his best friend, so really he wasn't too far off, except for a the crystal ball thing. 

Last miracle I want to share this week happened yesterday at church. Amir got confirmed and one of the talks was very focused on baptism. One of our investigators, Desmond was there and was also at Amir's baptism Saturday. At the end of sacrament meeting Desmond leaned over to sister Baker and asked how fast he could be baptized. She set a date for the 26 of March then came and found me and told me about it. Later that day he called us because he was board and wanted to meet. He wants so bad to be baptized. We just need to make sure he actually grows a testimony.

This week I also gave a talk in sacrament meeting. I shared the lyrics from the song Denk an mich from phantom of the opera. I actually really like the words in German.

When we read this as if God were reading it to us, we can see his love and desire for us simply to talk to him. I don't know if you have seen the new Film, but it is really good and I love the part where it says, Mein bester Freund. In English, friend of friends. I like the German better. He Christ, is really our best friend. All we have to do is the think on him. I have really seen a lot this week how many miracles you can see when you are just thinking on God and Christ. You see the miracles. President told us this week in our new missionary trainer call that miracles happen everyday, we just need to see them and choose to see them.
